We’re looking for artists to (finally) participate in the inaugural Nomadic Sound Series, set to take place in November 2021 after delays due to COVID-19. We are seeking submissions from contemporary artists who are blurring the lines of popular genres, experimenting with global sounds and creating at the intersection of art and culture.
About Us
Nomadic Sound Series is a bi-annual indoor winter music series which aims to give audiences access to new styles of contemporary music from around the world. We want to highlight new artists who are creating hybrid forms of music in popular genres and represent a diverse cultural mosaic.
What is Nomadic Sound Series?
Nomadic Sound Series is a new, bi-annual concert series happening in March and November. Nomadic Sound Series exists to create an environment where live music lovers can explore and discover.
Who can apply to perform at Nomadic Sound Series?
We are looking for eclectic artists with global influences, exploring hybrid and contemporary approaches to the music.
While we welcome submissions from international artists, please note that the artist is responsible for obtaining the necessary visa(s) to play in Canada and electronic travel authorization (eTA) to enter Canada, as well as all costs associated with travel and accommodation.
